Chintaman Ganesh Temple

Shri Chintaman Ganesh Temple is an ancient and revered Ganesh temple situated in Ujjain near the Shipra River. The temple houses three worshipped forms of Lord Ganesha—Chintaman Ganesh, Ichhaman Ganesh and Siddhivinayak Ganesh. Chintaman is revered as the remover of worries, Ichhaman is associated with heartfelt wishes, and Siddhivinayak is worshipped for success, prosperity and accomplishment. Devotees also visit the temple to offer wedding invitations, tie sacred threads and pray for auspicious beginnings.

Gate timings
5:00 AM — 10:00 PM
Temple timings are generally 5:00 AM–10:00 PM. Chola Aarti is held at approximately 7:00 AM, Bhog Aarti at 7:30 PM and Shayan Aarti at 9:30 PM. Timings may change during festivals and special events.
Sevas & rituals
Regular worship includes darshan, chola offering, Ganesh archana, bhog and aarti. Special puja, elaborate shringar and devotional events are organised during Ganesh Chaturthi. A special jatra is traditionally held on Wednesdays during the month of Chaitra, while til-based offerings are made during Til Chaturthi. Seva charges and advance-booking arrangements should be confirmed directly with the temple administration.
