One of the four Char Dham and the sacred abode of Lord Badrinarayan (Vishnu), set at 3,300 m on the banks of the Alaknanda between the Nar and Narayan peaks in the Garhwal Himalayas. Devotees pray here for peace, spiritual growth, protection and blessings for a righteous life. Associated with devotion, spiritual discipline and liberation, the temple opens seasonally each summer.
